International Mom's Club
We are a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother of today! You are interested in the world around you, want a
variety of activities for you and your children, and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families! We know, becuase we're
at-home mothers, too! You need a support group that understands your special needs as an at-home mother and we're it!
Moms & Munchkins
Mom's & Munchkins is an outreach ministry of Mountain View Lutheran Church. The church funds the newsletter, postage and other
costs and is the group's "home"> This generosity allows Moms & Munchkins to operate without dues or strict membership rules. In
fact, the only cost involved in belonging to our group is the cost for childcare at the monthly meetings (which can be waived
in the event of financial difficulty). Moms also pay the way for themselves and their children at any events they may attend.
Most, but not all members stay at home with their kids or work part time. We do fewer activities during the summer (but still
enjoy Kid's Day Out and Mom's Nite Out events as well as a few others) and during the school year our monthly activities include:
* Meetings with guest speakers or fun activities
* Newsletter/activities calendar
* Kid's Day Out
* Mom's Nite Out
* Park dates
* Kid friendly service activities
* Occasional holiday parties for the kids
* Bunco
* Scrapbooking Saturday
* Secret Friend program
Mothers & More
Mothers & More meets on the first & third Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. at Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Rd., Rm C-1 (Ray & Rural Rd.). Mothers & More is
a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education, and advocacy. Members also get together for
social outings, kids activities, playgroups and more.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS is an international organization with as many as 20 chapters located within 10 miles of Ahwatukee. Visit their website to search for one near you.
