The Red Cross has excellent materials to help people be prepared in the event of any type of disaster
(flood, tornado, acts of terror and much more). Some of the information is available in .pdf format to be downloaded and printed out.
There's also a great section on how to donate blood if you haven't ever given or if it's been a while; please take some time to do so. There are currently many
restrictions on who can give blood, so supplies can run dangerously low if they are not constantly replenished.
